'Morningstar'‘Morningstar’   
It was like the sun rising; darkness broke gently as perception dawned on the horizon of my mind. My vision returned slowly, almost reluctantly, and as the sight before me coalesced, I had nothing but sympathy for my tired eyes.  
My retina were bombarded by a torrent of foreign stimuli. I was still on the path… yet not. There were things here that not been present on the path before: things beside it, beneath it, inside it.  
Above me the sky was transformed; no longer the velvet blanket pierced by pinpricks of light, the sky was now a rainbow of colours that danced across the spectrum of light. The colou 'Morningstar'

~Chapter 1, Angels Secret.  
 
As I lay facedown on the path, two thoughts impressed themselves upon me with alarming urgency: 1) My body was close to exhaustion; 2) If I stopped moving now my sister would surely die. My cheek cold and breath ragged, I struggled to arouse the strength to continue, for was she not my kin? Wasn’t a bloodline something we shared? Something that bound us? Her immolation was intolerable to me.  
Get up. Get up you weak bastard.  
I lifted my head and looked into the night, my wandering gaze alighting on a strip of asphalt, just visible through a small gap in an otherwise thick The Path - Chapter 1

Well! I’m quite into comics, so at the moment I’m making my first real stab at writing a crime/ horror comic-arc that I could actually sell to a publisher. Fingers crossed! Working hard at the hospital as well!

Hey! It would be terribly rude if I didn't thank you for leaving a comment on my self-portrait drawing. I recently deleted it (the thumbnail was scaring me), and then I remembered your comment!

So, thanks for commenting! =D And yes, I do like to draw in my spare time, and have a diary of drawings. I find it easier to use a graphic pen for a cleaner and more proportional drawing. :giggle:

You asked why I'm tired so often. I think it's because my usual bedtime is around 12:30am. =D
